About Gairin Celtic Music
Gairin Celtic Music is Tom and Mary Kay Aufrance, and this musical duo got their start at Lake Tahoe, performing with Tahoe Choir and for the Lake Tahoe Renaissance Fair with their popular part-singing group The Motley Madrigals. From this rather star-studded beginning, Tom and Mary Kay Aufrance went on the perform with many exceptional musicians, singers and actors at California and Nevada Fairs, Celtic festivals and more. This talented and entertaining husband-and-wife duo picked up their instruments for the challenge of Contra Dance band playing, and also became the musical act of Slim and Minnie, for the reknowned Nevada Gunfighters Theatrical Acting Troupe. Today, Tom and Mary Kay have branched out into many musical genres including Contemporary, Musical Theater, Rock n Roll and Pop genres, but stay true to their Celtic and Folk Music roots.
