After Getting Your Radon Test Results
The EPA recommends what to do that after performing your Radon Test.
If you conduct the test yourself, the recommendations are very simple...
- Be sure to promptly return the test device to the laboratory in a timely manner.
- Complete the required information, including start and stop times, test location, and all other information that the lab asks for when you send your Test Kit to them.
- If your test was performed to satisfy the requirements of a real estate agreement or other obligation, share your results with the appropriate people.
If you hired a Radon tester...
- You should get a report that demonstrates that testing conditions were not violated during the testing period.
- Of course, your report should list your test results and any pertinent information about the tester or lab you hired.
- If your test was performed to satisfy the requirements of a real estate agreement or other obligation, share your results with the appropriate people.
