Granlibakken Tahoe is one of my favorite picks in Tahoe City, especially if you enjoy a peaceful setting surrounded by tall pines. The lodge sits on 74 wooded acres, just a 5 minute drive from Lake Tahoe, and it has that cozy, tucked-away feeling that makes mountain stays memorable. It is a place where you can slow down, breathe the forest air, and still be close to everything in town.
Comfortable Rooms and a Hot Breakfast to Start the Day
Rooms here have a bright, country-style charm, complete with cable TV and a coffee maker. Some rooms even include a wood-burning fireplace, which adds a wonderful touch on cool Tahoe evenings. Each morning, guests enjoy a hot breakfast buffet, a welcome perk before heading out for skiing, hiking, or exploring the lake.
